Thanks for the memories

We all have experienced a week-long family vacation. We would like to think that it is a week of good food, good times, good people and good memories. I don’t need to tell you how that usually turns out. Diverse personalities, stress, close living arrangements and unfamiliar territory can thwart our dreams of that perfect Ozzie and Harriett vacation.

A group bicycle tour is very similar to a family vacation. In my case, I threw together eight friends to make up our impromptu family for the week. We survived pretty well during our time together. Sure, there were some stressful times, but they were far outnumbered by the fun times. My observation was that a good time was had by all.

Take care of all your memories. For you cannot relive them. — Bob Dylan

I capture memories in photos. I am an amateur photographer. I love looking back through the years on the albums I have assembled. I particularly like the group photos we took during our week as a family. We made it a point to take a photo at many of the memorable locations along the ride. I hope you enjoy these photos. I also hope it encourages you to capture your special moments in photos.
